LIBRARY SERVICES
- Digital Library Service
The SGT University Library provides access to library databases and resources both on-campus and off-campus to registered users through the Knimbus Digital Library Service 24x7 via https://sgtuniversity.knimbus.com . Users can log in using their ID and password provided by the library.
- Library Mobile App (mLibrary) Service
The SGT University Library provides easy access to online resources through the mLibrary App. Resources can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
- Library Membership
All registered students can become library members by submitting a duly filled form signed by the Dean/Director. A valid University ID Card is mandatory. Faculty members are also required to submit a signed membership form.
- Circulation Service
Issue and return of books are available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No circulation services are available on Sundays and holidays. Reference books are available for in-library use during working hours.
- OPAC Service
The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) allows users to check the availability of library resources and access subscribed databases.
- Current Awareness Service (CAS)
Information about newly arrived books and journals is regularly shared with concerned users and departments.
- Plagiarism Check Service
The library provides plagiarism checking using Turnitin and iThenticate for research scholars and faculty. Users must submit a request form and send documents via email to libraryplagiarism@sgtuniversity.org .
- Online Support Services
Users can send queries via email to onlinelibrary@sgtuniversity.org , and library staff will provide assistance.
- Computer & Internet Service
The library provides internet access through LAN and Wi-Fi for users.
- Reprography Service
Photocopying, printing, and binding services are available at nominal charges for academic use. Scanning is available free of cost for academic purposes.
- Reference Service
Both short-range and long-range reference services are provided to users.
- Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI)
Information is provided based on the specific needs and interests of users.
- Bibliographical Services
Bibliographies on specific subjects are compiled using various databases to help users locate relevant information.
- Document Delivery Service (DDS)
Documents are provided on demand from internal or external sources.
- Newspaper Clipping Service
The library maintains newspaper clippings from daily publications.
